In 2014, LOMA implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial application to support finance and accounting operations. The deployment centered on Infor SunSystems FMS V6, with configuration work scoped to financial ledgers, user security, and test to production database workflows.
The implementation included installation and setup of Infor SunSystems FMS V6 and PMQA 10, creation of business rules, and the establishment of user permissions using the SUNADMIN account. Teams created the SUNDB and SUNDOMAIN databases as part of the application schema, and configured application-level security and role-based access for core accounting functions.
The technical environment used SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008, with a QAS server provisioned for quality assurance. Engineers performed a restoration of the SUN production database to the SUN QAS databases to support testing and validation, and provided ongoing fix and support activities to address functional and operational issues.
Governance activities emphasized business rule configuration and user permission management under SUNADMIN, with QAS-driven validation before production changes. Operational support and developer contract work focused on application fixes, database restores, and sustaining SunSystems stability for LOMA finance and accounting teams.
