Governance and process changes were led by finance personnel including the Assistant Management Accountant who owned posting, bank reconciliations, and merchant fee analysis workflows. Process enhancements included automation of large volume invoice and credit note entries and an improved customer refund process, delivering greater transparency in P&L and balance sheet line management and assurance over merchant payments as reflected in accounting records.
