In 2016, M1 Support Services implemented JAMIS Prime ERP. The JAMIS Prime ERP deployment was positioned as the companys ERP Financial backbone to centralize accounting, cost accounting, payroll and financial reporting across its aerospace and defense services operations.
The implementation consolidated core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting and payroll, while also enabling electronic time capture and expense reporting through e timecard and e expense capabilities. JAMIS Prime ERP was configured to support job accounting management workflows that align with the companys contract cost reporting and incurred cost submission processes.
Operational integration work included conversion and consolidation of previously used financial and job accounting systems such as Deltek GCS Premier and JAMIS Classic into JAMIS Prime ERP, and implementation of bank cash management controls. The program incorporated zero balance account architecture and an auto borrow auto pay cash management flow, and it supported payroll and benefits data interfacing needed for 401K and insurance administration within the companys multi state and multinational footprint.
Governance and rollout were driven from the corporate finance function under the CFO, with process reengineering across accounting, benefits administration and financial reporting to deliver more timely and accurate reports. Outcomes explicitly documented during the broader back office transformation included annual savings in Defense Base Act insurance of 200000 and benefits program savings of more than 250000, while JAMIS Prime ERP provided the ERP Financial infrastructure to sustain centralized financial control for operations spanning 30 states and seven countries with a 6500 employee base.

The deployment supported Fort Rucker, AL operations and was managed by an Applications Manager who served as the IBM Maximo System Administrator and Microsoft SharePoint System Administrator, providing day to day operational ownership and technical leadership for upgrades and complex initiatives.
Configuration work focused on IBM Maximo MEA and MIF components, application design, and end user training on new functionalities and processes. Implementation activities included configuring asset lifecycle and work order oriented workflows and aligning Maximo configuration to maintenance, inventory, and preventive maintenance use cases typical of Enterprise Asset Management systems.
The technical architecture was anchored on clustered JVMs and enterprise application servers, with maintenance of both WebLogic and WebSphere configurations, and supporting webservers including IIS, JBOSS, and Apache Tomcat. Integrations and data infrastructure responsibilities included coordination of system and middleware patching, administration of SQL Server and MySQL back ends, oversight of 60 plus databases, and orchestration of multiple data migrations including the migration of over 100 tables from Oracle to SQL Server to ensure data integrity for IBM Maximo.
Governance and operational controls emphasized documentation for SOX, DCAA, and ISO audited systems, scheduled disaster recovery exercises, and end user training to embed new workflows. The program facilitated on time completion of multiple data migrations from legacy systems and executed DR exercises that contributed to organizational uptime objectives reported above 99 percent.
