In 2017, MacStadium, Inc. implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to consolidate financials across multiple subsidiaries under OneWorld and to support multi currency accounting as part of its ERP Financial strategy. The deployment centralized core finance capabilities including general ledger consolidation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and company level financial reporting within Oracle NetSuite ERP.
Configuration work focused on OneWorld subsidiary management and foreign currency ledgers, and included a custom inventory configuration to track fixed assets inside NetSuite. The team created system workflows for approvals on Purchase Orders, Journal Entries, and Transfer Orders, and implemented enforced user alerts to drive compliance with departmental policies. The project also included active escalation to NetSuite product teams, resulting in changes to how NetSuite handles financial reporting for their use case.
Operationally the implementation was executed while the organization managed live month end processes, requiring parallel controls and cutover sequencing to maintain reporting continuity. Cleanup of inventory and asset management records in internal systems was a central effort to improve billing accuracy and downstream revenue recognition. The deployment was completed without an external systems integrator, and the independent implementation approach reduced external professional services billing.
Governance changes formalized approval workflows and departmental enforcement, and procurement strategy adjustments created explicit savings opportunities of more than $500K in the first year of employment. Oracle NetSuite ERP now serves as the consolidated ERP Financial system for MacStadium, Inc., supporting standardized month end procedures and fixed asset tracking across subsidiaries.
