In 2018, Maillefer implemented Poimapper as a Field Service Management application to capture quality control and non conformance reporting directly from the field. Poimapper enables engineers to record defects, attach images, and assign corrective actions in real time, and the deployment leverages Poimapper Supplier Audits and Quality Audits capabilities to structure inspection data and corrective workflows.
The deployment targets quality and supplier audit processes and is used by engineering and quality assurance teams to standardize defect capture and supplier communication. The implementation formalized corrective action assignment and supplier notification workflows, and it improved the speed of communicating issues to suppliers while increasing consistency of QC reporting.
