In 2019, Mainstay Housing implemented SAMETRICA ESG, an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) application to formalize impact measurement and reporting. The engagement positioned SAMETRICA ESG as the primary platform for social outcome measurement within the organization, aligning application capabilities with program-level reporting needs and stakeholder accountability.
SAMETRICA ESG was configured to capture social impact indicators and beneficiary outcome data, using standardized collection templates, indicator mapping and reporting dashboards. Functional modules and capabilities implemented included outcome frameworks, data capture workflows for program staff, and visualization tools for executive and funder reporting.
The deployment focused on operationalizing measurement across housing and community support functions, enabling program teams and senior leadership to use a common data model and consistent outcome definitions. The implementation emphasized role-based access for data entry and reporting, and centralized evidence capture to support narrative and quantitative reporting needs.
Governance changes introduced new outcome reporting workflows and a recurring evidence review cadence, with SAMETRICA ESG serving as the measurement backbone. As a result, Mainstay Housing can now measure the improvements in the quality of life they bring through their extraordinary work.
