In 2015 Manitou Group deployed Bonita Process Mining to improve traceability and digitize its investment application process. The deployment positioned Bonita Process Mining within the Process Mining category to instrument workflows and enable process automation across IT, development, BPM and business testing functions.
The implementation focused on automating paper-based exchanges to create a paperless process, formalizing actors and their roles to enable standardization and complete traceability, and embedding workflow orchestration capabilities typical of Process Mining implementations. Configuration guidance emphasized pragmatic process modeling, training developers in Bonita to accelerate development, and avoiding exhaustive modeling of every exception to reduce complexity and improve maintainability. Resistance to change was addressed through extensive user training and support, and the Bonitasoft Customer Success Team participated in project activities.
Governance was organized around a cross functional project team combining development, BPM and business representatives, with strong participation during testing phases, a clear division of tasks, and iterative rollout practices consistent with an agile approach. The project produced a paperless investment workflow, positive user feedback, and reported productivity and quality gains, and the IT team continued to extend the companys digital process portfolio by implementing additional processes using Bonita Process Mining.

Governance is centered on the Google Admin console for user lifecycle management, group-based access policies, and baseline data governance consistent with Collaboration suites.
