Intex Legacy Intex ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Marc O'Polo implemented Intex ERP, an ERP Financial application, by adding an RFID module as an add-on to a new sorting system. The project integrated a transceiver system to provide automatic localization and identification of objects across logistics and retail operations, enabling the use of INTEX Professional software at packstations and goods receiving stations. The implementation configured the RFID module and INTEX Professional components to support packstation and receiving station workflows, improving pick and inbound inspection processes. Interfaces were implemented via web service methods and direct communication with foreign systems within the INTEX environment to allow real-time data exchange and object tracking. The deployment targeted logistics and retail operational sites, aligning inventory identification and packing workflows with system-controlled processes. As reported by Marc O'Polo, the addition of RFID with Intex ERP led to increased delivery quality, improved incoming goods control, a significant increase in the number of pickings, and reductions in error rate and return rate.
