Fatigue Science Legacy Fatigue ReadiSync Fatigue Management HCM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Marcobre deployed Fatigue ReadiSync at its Mina Justa mine in Peru as a Fatigue Management application to support operations and HSE functions across day and night crews. The deployment targeted operational crews and supervisor teams at the mine site, embedding wearable monitoring into frontline fatigue monitoring and supervisory decision workflows. The implementation combined ReadiBand wearable devices and ReadiWatch monitoring alongside supervisor workflows, configured to surface sleep and readiness analytics, alert on elevated fatigue risk, and enable supervisor interventions. ReadiBand provided continuous physiological sleep and activity signals and ReadiWatch presented near real time dashboards and alerts, supporting shift handover assessments and crew scheduling adjustments consistent with fatigue management best practices. Operational data synchronization was implemented using Fatigue ReadiSync to coordinate device data and supervisor consoles on site, inferred from documented on site syncing workflows in the case study. ReadiSync was used to aggregate wearable data into supervisor dashboards and to sustain local syncing when connectivity fluctuated, maintaining readiness information for operational decision making. Governance centered on supervisor led fatigue workflows and frontline HSE processes, with supervisors using the platform to proactively manage operator fatigue through monitoring and interventions. Outcomes reported in the case study include a reduction in fatigue events to 0.002 events per hour by the end of 2022 and an increase in average sleep hours for day and night crews, reflecting measurable operational safety improvements tied to the Fatigue ReadiSync deployment.
