In 2018, Masottina implemented TeamSystem Wine to address the introduction of mandatory electronic wine registers and to support increasing production driven by vineyard expansion. TeamSystem Wine is a Winery Management solution designed for the agri-food market and was selected to provide end-to-end functional coverage aligned with Masottina's vineyard to retail traceability requirements.
The implementation configured functional modules covering grape delivery recording, cellar management, production batch tracking and product traceability, capturing the movement from the Ogliano vineyards through vinification to finished bottles. TeamSystem Wine's Business Intelligence capabilities were deployed to convert cellar and production data into analytical information for in-depth analysis of company performance. Regulatory compliance workflows for electronic wine registers were incorporated to ensure structured reporting and record retention.
Operational coverage included vineyard operations, cellar floor processes, warehouse handling and sales channels for Italian and international markets, reflecting Masottina's export orientation and direct retail through the wine shop. The information architecture linked vineyard inputs, production batches and finished goods to maintain traceability across the supply chain. Masottina has a planned integration to connect TeamSystem Wine with a logistics solution to optimize handling of large bottle volumes passing through the warehouse.
