In 2018, Massilia Defi Voile implemented Magix Movie Edit Pro for Video Editing to support communications and promotional media for the Massilia Sailing Challenge and ongoing association outreach. The deployment was focused on the communications function within the 20-person association, with primary users identified as the Communications Manager and the Graphic Designer producing event films between November 2018 and November 2019.
Magix Movie Edit Pro was used for core video editing capabilities including multitrack timeline editing, transitions, titling, basic audio mixing, and export encoding to social-friendly formats. The implementation was integrated into an existing creative toolchain, with video assets imported from Photoshop and Illustrator for motion graphics and promotional film packaging, and outputs produced for distribution to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Operationally the rollout was single-site and role-driven, centered at the Ecole Centrale de Marseille association office, with the Communications Manager responsible for content scheduling and the Graphic Designer responsible for asset production. Governance focused on embedding Magix Movie Edit Pro into the communications content production workflow for event promotion and social media publishing, aligning video production tasks with social channel requirements and campaign timelines.
