In 2022 Mastermyne implemented Redmap AP Automation to automate accounts payable workflows, deploying an AP Automation solution to reduce manual invoice handling and strengthen compliance. The deployment was selected in part because Redmap offered a standard product that worked out of the box, and the vendor had an established track record with Pronto Software customers.
The implementation centered on machine learning driven invoice capture and data extraction, automated purchase order matching, and spend limit verification. Where invoices matched POs and fell within configured spend thresholds, Redmap AP Automation posted transactions directly to Pronto Xi ERP, otherwise invoices were routed for authorisation. The configuration emphasized exception handling and minimal human intervention for routine invoices, converting transactional work into controlled exception workflows.
Redmap AP Automation was integrated with Mastermyne's Pronto Xi ERP as the primary end-to-end ledger posting destination, providing a seamless handoff from invoice ingestion to ledger entry. The vendor’s prior experience with over 100 Pronto deployments was a selection factor that reduced implementation risk and compressed timelines. The solution also positioned Mastermyne to meet the Australian Government e-invoicing requirements that became mandatory from July 2022.
Operational rollout focused on the accounts payable team and associated authorisers across the business, with governance changes to capture a complete, reportable audit trail for every invoice action. Roles within the finance function were redefined, moving AP staff from data entry to advisory and compliance tasks, and concentrating human review on exceptions. Workflow controls were instrumented to ensure that every approval and exception path is recorded and available for internal and external stakeholders.
Reported outcomes from the implementation included a significant reduction in labor intensive invoice handling, elimination of manual folder based routing, improved access to invoice documentation across the business, and higher workplace satisfaction in the accounts team. Redmap AP Automation delivered automated posting into Pronto Xi and an auditable, hands-off AP process for matched invoices, while exceptions remained clearly routed for human resolution.
