In 2023, MAXIMA GRUPĖ expanded its use of RELEX Space Planning, deploying the Retail Management solution to include T-Market in Bulgaria alongside existing Baltic operations. The project extends a relationship that began in 2012 and targets improved merchandising and space planning across a combined footprint referenced as 513 stores, including a new rollout to 120 T-Market grocery stores in Bulgaria.
The implementation centers on space optimization and planogram management capabilities within RELEX Space Planning, configured to produce fuller, more aesthetic shelves and displays and to standardize planogram creation across formats. The deployment also enables in-store execution communications and mobile delivery of planograms to store devices, supporting store-level assortment execution and central planogram updates.
Operational coverage spans central planning teams and store operations in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the newly added Bulgaria sites, with the system providing mobile system access to improve collaboration between stores and headquarters. The solution is positioned as part of MAXIMA GRUPĖs unified supply chain and retail planning landscape, coordinating merchandising decisions across multiple countries and formats.
Governance and rollout emphasize coordination between central planning and store execution, with planogram distribution and in-store execution communications used to align store teams to centrally defined assortments and visual merchandising standards. The vendor and MAXIMA state the implementation will drive greater sales, operational efficiency, inventory reduction and product availability while enhancing the in-store experience for customers.
