The implementation also captured promotional activity and time-series performance profiles, with configurations to record daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance snapshots to support commercial and finance planning.
The Oracle E-Business Suite environment was integrated with surrounding planning and retail systems, explicitly linking to SAP components and APO for supply chain coordination, Essbase and Hyperion for financial analysis and planning, and Excel for ad hoc modelling and reporting, while EPOS feeds were consumed for tracking and monitoring promotional and sales activity.
