In 2017, Mazzella Companies implemented ABIS ERP for Enterprise Resource Planning to consolidate core finance and manufacturing operations across the organization. In 2010, Mazzella Companies implemented ABIS CRM, a Customer Relationship Management application provided by ABIS Inc. The project originated after Tony Mazzella engaged ABIS at Metalcon 09, leading to a June 2010 decision to move forward with a customized CRM deployment for Mazzella Lifting Technologies, the Cleveland based manufacturer and distributor of lifting products.
ABIS CRM was configured with customizations to align with account management, contact management, opportunity tracking and sales pipeline workflows consistent with the Customer Relationship Management category. Custom workstreams focused on adapting data models and sales stage definitions to Mazzella’s product and quoting processes, and on configuring user roles and security to match manufacturing and distribution commercial teams.
Deployment followed a condensed vendor engagement from decision in June 2010 to go-live in September 2010, with development and configuration completed prior to launch. Rollout emphasis was on commercial operations and sales-facing staff, and governance centered on configured access controls and standardized opportunity management workflows to support ongoing sales processes.
