In 2010, M&Co implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment concentrated on core Oracle Financials capabilities to establish structured accounts payable controls, intercompany accounting, and scheduled payment runs across the finance organization.
Configuration work emphasized Accounts Payable workflows and SLA enforcement for invoice processing, with Oracle E-Business Suite used to codify service level agreements and automate invoice routing and approval states. The implementation included setup of supplier master controls and intercompany transaction handling, and it deployed scheduled payment processing to support four payment runs per week.
Operational coverage centered on a five person accounts payable team responsible for day to day processing and payments to suppliers and employees to terms, alongside finance and treasury coordination. Post go live responsibilities included delivering support and training for Oracle Financials and maintaining supplier and intercompany relationship management to improve joint processes.
Governance changes introduced formal SLA metrics for AP invoice processing, structured weekly review cycles, and performance tracking. The finance leadership reviewed targets with senior management, analyzed trend reports, took timely action on performance issues, and implemented reward measures when targets were achieved or exceeded.
