In 2013, Mecachrome implemented Kyriba Treasury as its Treasury Management platform to centralize group-level treasury operations and formalize a cash management strategy. The deployment was positioned under finance leadership and aimed to support the CFOs cash management agenda, including cash pooling, bank pool management, and orchestration of short and long term financing strategies.
Kyriba Treasury was configured to deliver core treasury functional capabilities, including cash positioning and centralized liquidity management, cash pooling orchestration, cash forecasting and bank account management. Payment and treasury workflow automation were established to standardize day to day treasury operations and support syndication and disintermediated financing workflows referenced by the finance team.
The implementation integrated with the company ERP Movex for operational cash and payment feeds, and with consolidation system Amelkis for reporting and close processes, together with other business SaaS applications used across the group. These interfaces supported a single source of treasury truth for liquidity reporting and helped align treasury data with group consolidation and financial close in French GAAP and IFRS.
Governance changes accompanied the technical deployment, with the CFO office driving treasury policy, roll out of centralized cash management processes, and embedding a cash culture across finance and operating units. Kyriba Treasury was used as the execution and control layer to support financing activity such as syndicated credit and Euro PP, and to feed consolidated reporting and treasury controls across the Mecachrome group.
