In 2014 Mediaocean implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize core accounting and billing functions across its US and Canada finance organization. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment targeted ERP Financial capabilities, and the program was positioned to support invoicing, revenue recognition, and the complete month end close and reporting package required by the company and its private equity parent.
The implementation configured modules and workflows for billing and invoicing, general ledger, accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets and accrual accounting, along with monthly reconciliation processes and formalized policy documentation. The billing system was a primary focus, and the new billing workflows were implemented and integrated into Oracle NetSuite ERP to consolidate transaction and revenue data into a single ERP ledger for financial close processes.
Integrations were explicitly executed with Salesforce CRM as part of the broader finance and revenue orchestration, and the billing system integration into NetSuite is documented as a key implementation signal.
