| OneAdvanced | Legacy | Advanced OpenHR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Medivet Group Limited deployed Advanced OpenHR as its Core HR application to centralize employee master data and standardize core HR workflows. Advanced OpenHR was implemented to provide personnel records, absence management, and talent workflow capabilities consistent with Core HR functional expectations across the organization.
The deployment used a hybrid architecture combining on premise Windows Server 2008 and 2012 hosts with SQL Server 2017 and 2019 back ends. Microsoft BI components including SSIS 2017/2019 for ETL, SSRS 2008/2010 for operational reporting, and SSAS 2008/2010 were part of the data stack, while Microsoft Visual Studio 2017/2019 supported development artifacts. Azure Portal, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps and a Git repository were incorporated for cloud services, data orchestration, and application lifecycle management, enabling a mixed on premise and cloud operational model for Advanced OpenHR.
Integrations were explicit and system level, Advanced OpenHR exchanged data with a MySQL based Purchase Ordering System and with Sage Exchequer for finance interactions, using ETL and file transfer mechanisms. FileZilla was used as an FTP client for bulk file exchanges, Fresh Service served as the ticketing system for incident and change requests, and Power BI together with DAX and a Tabular Model provided analytical and executive reporting downstream of Advanced OpenHR. Data movement and reporting workflows used SSIS and Azure Data Factory to stage and transform HR data for visualization and downstream financial reconciliation.
Operational scope centered on HR and adjacent finance functions, with Advanced OpenHR configured to support transactional HR processes and upstream reporting. Governance and application lifecycle controls were established through Azure DevOps and the Git repository, aligning release management and change control for Advanced OpenHR deployments and report model updates. Configuration and integration work leveraged Visual Studio artifacts and Microsoft BI tooling to maintain coherence between HR records, payroll adjacent processes, procurement feeds, and finance systems.
