In 2021, Mercasa deployed Suprema BioLite N2 terminals as part of a time & attendance and entry turnstile system at its Madrid headquarters. The procurement document specifies four BioLite N2 units procured for an HR-focused Time Clock (Hardware) deployment.
The Suprema BioLite N2 units were implemented as biometric hardware endpoints providing fingerprint biometric authentication, on-device time stamping, and turnstile access control interfaces consistent with Time Clock (Hardware) functionality. Configuration work centered on endpoint provisioning, employee biometric enrollment workflows, and mapping terminal event logs into Mercasa's centralized attendance procedures.
Operational coverage was confined to the Madrid headquarters and impacted HR time and attendance processes as well as site access control workflows. A support contract established in 2021 provides maintenance and service support for the installed Suprema BioLite N2 units, and the stated objective of the implementation was to automate manual attendance processes and improve automated attendance tracking and maintenance support.
