In 2021, MFO implemented Asseco Softlab ERP, deploying an ERP to consolidate manufacturing and operational data across the company. The Asseco Softlab ERP implementation was executed by an internal implementation team and IT project specialists who developed custom applications for managing product definitions using T-SQL, PHP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
Asseco Softlab ERP was configured to manage core manufacturing workflows including product definition management, inventory and stock analysis, supply and demand tracking for key raw materials, and workload estimation for material handling. The implementation included ETL process development and the creation of Business Intelligence tooling, with Qlik Sense used for analytics and reporting automation built with T-SQL and VBA.
Integrations and automation work included RPA robotization using Power Automate and ETL feeds to populate Qlik Sense dashboards, enabling cross-functional visibility for production planning, procurement, warehouse operations, and logistics. Operational coverage focused on the Polish steel profile production site, supporting demand analysis and tools to predict and optimize forklift operator workload based on estimated production line loads over time.
Governance and rollout were driven by the internal IT project specialist team embedded in the implementation effort, who also scripted reporting automation and ETL jobs. Outcomes documented during the engagement include automated reporting that reduced daily report preparation from two hours to one minute, and the deployment of predictive and optimization tools for materials and operator workload.
