The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation delivered an end to end finance stack that included General and Sub Ledgers, an Accounting Hub, and reconciliation tooling. The configuration work emphasized core accounting workflows, ledger structures, and reconciliation automation consistent with ERP Financial functional requirements. Integrations were explicitly scoped to connect Oracle Cloud ERP with Cost Allocation, Budgeting and Forecasting Oracle EPM solutions, Tagetik Group Consolidation, and the Towers Watson IFRS17 engine, establishing a connected group reporting and actuarial reporting chain. The programme outlined dedicated tracks for Data Migration and Cutover, and noted forthcoming roles for Data Migration and Cutover track leads, Training leads, and Financial Accounting SMEs. Governance was organized around a programme director led delivery model, with multi-vendor coordination between M&G, IBM and TCS to build out delivery team capability and operational workflows. The project was reported to be in full flight and well positioned for success, and the deployment focused on supporting finance and accounting functions including general ledger, group consolidation and IFRS17 reporting.

The implementation environment also operated alongside Oracle PeopleSoft HCM during the transition period, and team members used both systems as part of cross-system processes. The HR operations scope included close coordination with payroll, the risk team for department reviews, and external providers such as the outplacement partner to maintain end to end HR service continuity. Governance and process ownership emphasized ongoing process improvement, training of new HR staff on Workday HCM, and strict adherence to M&G Plc policies and procedures for HR and pay changes. The team supported audits, worked to tight deadlines, and proactively built relationships with other HR functions to embed Workday HCM into operational workflows and control frameworks.

The rollout included iterative process improvement for Workday related processes, day to day support for HR and Payroll queries, and operational controls to meet tight reporting deadlines and audit requirements.
