Blackbaud Legacy Blackbaud CRM CRM, Donor and Fundraising Management CRM n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, Mississippi State University Development and Alumni implemented Blackbaud CRM for CRM,Donor and Fundraising Management to support alumni engagement and centralized advancement operations. The Division has been a Blackbaud customer since 2005 and configured Blackbaud CRM to address fundraising workflows and constituent relationship management across the unit. The deployment emphasized out-of-the-box advancement capabilities paired with configurable modules for alumni engagement, constituent records, gift processing, and workflow automation. Blackbaud CRM was configured to provide a unified constituent data model and reporting view, and customization was applied to automate previously manual processes related to donor matching and campaign tracking. Integrations were explicitly implemented, including a direct integration of 360MatchPro from Double-the-Donation, and the project relied on Blackbaud CRM open APIs to enable further third-party tool connections. Operational coverage spans multiple departments within the Division and supports service to the universitys 161,000 living alumni, consolidating fundraising and engagement touchpoints into a single source of truth. Governance changes focused on centralized data stewardship and shared access protocols so staff across departments operate from consistent records, improving data accessibility and transparency. The implementation was reported as smooth, the 360MatchPro integration was simple to complete, and the Division automated manual tasks while expecting an increase in dollars raised and matched in future fundraising campaigns.
