SmarterServices Legacy SmarterProctoring Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Mississippi Virtual Community College US implemented SmarterProctoring, deploying SmarterProctoring as a Collaboration application to standardize proctoring modalities across its 15 community colleges for academic testing and assessment in Mississippi, United States. The deployment was executed at the consortium level to create a single operational model for proctoring across multiple campuses. The implementation focused on core functional capabilities aligned with proctoring workflows, including automated proctoring, live remote proctoring, and face to face proctoring modalities, together with cross campus student scheduling and centralized reporting. SmarterProctoring was configured to provide consistent exam delivery workflows and reporting that reflect testing center load and scheduling windows. Operational coverage included the consortium of 15 community colleges and their physical testing centers, with the application used by testing center staff, academic assessment teams, and student services to coordinate appointments and testing capacity. The rollout created continuity across testing sites and enabled students to schedule exams across campuses, aligning operational procedures at the consortium level. Governance and process change were driven by a statewide rollout model that standardized scheduling and reporting practices across member colleges, enabling unified management of testing center capacity and equitable access. Reporting from SmarterProctoring delivered visibility that helped manage testing center capacity and equitable access, which were explicit objectives of the consortium deployment.
