In 2016, Missouri Botanical Garden implemented Dayforce Touch as its Time Clock (Hardware) solution, embedding Dayforce Touch into the broader Dayforce HCM footprint used by HR and payroll. The deployment supported a mid-market environment of roughly 550 employees and centralized time collection for biweekly payroll processing and project labor collection.
Dayforce Touch was configured alongside Dayforce HCM modules that included HR, Benefits, Payroll, Projects, Compensation Management, Performance Management, Onboarding, Scheduling and Recruiting, with explicit timekeeping configuration, entitlements, pay rule configuration and accrual setup. System administration responsibilities included Dayforce Touch time clock provisioning, report building and ongoing configuration changes to support scheduling and attendance workflows.
Operational integrations were executed within the Dayforce ecosystem, linking Dayforce Touch time capture to payroll processing, GL monitoring and carrier feeds, and feeding project labor collection for accounting purposes. The implementation supported leave management workflows including FMLA, ADA, VESSA and USERRA, and interfaced with benefits administration activities such as open enrollment and 403b plan oversight.
Governance and operational support were administered by an internal HRIS function responsible for documentation, training, first tier troubleshooting, audit support and process automation. The HRIS team supervised payroll and benefits staff, maintained HR intranet and organizational charts, and managed recurring configuration tasks such as annual merit increases and carrier feed maintenance, ensuring Dayforce Touch remained aligned with HR and payroll policies.
