The implementation retained integrations with specialist pieces of software already used by Mitchell Services, and incorporated electronic capture of pre-starts and defect reports to centralize asset compliance data for a single compliance officer. Project governance followed the Pronto Software Implementation Methodology and included a two day pre-sales scoping workshop to map project scope and a structured project management approach to maintain timeline and budget. Internal skills were developed during the rollout so that an acquired drilling business was later integrated into the Pronto XI system without external consultant support. Reported operational outcomes that accompanied the Pronto XI deployment included reductions in manual processing time and keying errors, the ability to process payroll for more than double the employee base in similar or less time, a threefold increase in complex sales orders processed, a reduction in paper through electronic workflows, growth in monthly pre-starts from approximately 1,800 to nearly 6,000, monthly timesheets processed rising from about 2,500 to 8,500, and daily drill logs increasing to around 1,500 per month. The implementation also improved data quality enabling the business to build reports and dashboards from consolidated Pronto XI ERP data.
