| Pronto Software | Legacy | Pronto XI ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Mitchell Services implemented Pronto XI ERP as its ERP Financial system to address rapid growth and operational limits created by multiple stand-alone applications and manual spreadsheets. The implementation was driven from Brisbane, Australia and scoped to provide consolidated financial, payroll and operational processing across head office and remote field operations.
Pronto XI ERP was configured with core finance and payroll capabilities and extended functional modules including Project Costing, Inventory management, Plant Maintenance, billing and timesheet processing, and electronic workflow for approvals and compliance. Automation was applied to payroll and client billing generation through an import-driven daily drill log and timesheet intake, and the Project Costing application was used to track purchasing and spend against budgets.
The solution was deployed on Pronto Cloud, providing scalability and mobile access so field staff could create and update work orders on site rather than being limited to head office. The implementation retained integrations with specialist pieces of software already used by Mitchell Services, and incorporated electronic capture of pre-starts and defect reports to centralize asset compliance data for a single compliance officer.
Project governance followed the Pronto Software Implementation Methodology and included a two day pre-sales scoping workshop to map project scope and a structured project management approach to maintain timeline and budget. Internal skills were developed during the rollout so that an acquired drilling business was later integrated into the Pronto XI system without external consultant support.
Reported operational outcomes that accompanied the Pronto XI deployment included reductions in manual processing time and keying errors, the ability to process payroll for more than double the employee base in similar or less time, a threefold increase in complex sales orders processed, a reduction in paper through electronic workflows, growth in monthly pre-starts from approximately 1,800 to nearly 6,000, monthly timesheets processed rising from about 2,500 to 8,500, and daily drill logs increasing to around 1,500 per month. The implementation also improved data quality enabling the business to build reports and dashboards from consolidated Pronto XI ERP data.

| ELMO Software | Legacy | ELMO HR Core | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Mitchell Services implemented ELMO HR Core. ELMO HR Core is a Core HR application provisioned to centralize HR operations, supporting HR business partnering across head office staff and operational managers within Mitchell Services Australian operations.
The deployment targeted Core HR functional areas including centralized employee records, onboarding and offboarding workflows, contract and document management, performance review orchestration, and HRIS administration. Configuration emphasized automation of performance review cycles, formalized disciplinary and redundancy workflow templates, and compliance audit mechanisms such as annual salary verification and timesheet checking.
Operational coverage focused on the HR function with operational managers using the system for employment relations, conflict resolution, and case management, while HR retained system administration, policy governance, and audit responsibilities. Implementation and upkeep activities included maintaining HRIS configurations, record keeping aligned with legislative and quality assurance standards, and conducting regular compliance audits.
Governance changes consolidated HR policies and procedures into ELMO HR Core, aligning system workflows with employment contracts, disciplinary processes, and annual performance and salary review processes. Training, ongoing system maintenance, and structured audits were used to sustain the rollout and embed the application into Mitchell Services HR operations.

| Pronto Software | Legacy | Pronto Xi Asset and Facility Management | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Mitchell Services deployed Pronto Xi Asset and Facility Management to centralize operational control as part of an Asset Performance Management initiative. The rollout addressed rapid growth pressures across the Brisbane based drilling and services business and aimed to replace five stand-alone systems with a unified platform to support field operations and corporate finance.
Pronto Xi Asset and Facility Management was configured with core modules including payroll, Project Costing, Inventory, Plant Maintenance, electronic workflows, and integrated billing and timesheet capabilities. The implementation emphasized work order creation and mobile site updates for field crews, automated capture of pre-starts and defect reports, and the Project Costing application to track purchasing and supply chain spend against budgets.
The deployment used Pronto Cloud hosted infrastructure to enable remote access for distributed sites and mobile staff, ensuring the Asset Performance Management application was available outside head office. The billing and timesheet subsystem was integrated with site capture processes via an import function that automatically generated payroll and client billing from daily drill logs, and the overall solution was designed to interoperate with specialist point solutions already in use.
Governance and delivery followed Pronto Software implementation methodology including a two day pre-sales scoping workshop and structured project management to stay within timeline and budget parameters. Operational workflows were restructured to move paper processes into electronic workflows, centralize data entry, and establish a single asset compliance owner model to oversee maintenance and compliance activities across sites.
Reported outcomes included faster payroll processing supporting more than double the employee count in equivalent time, a tripling of complex sales order throughput, growth in monthly pre-starts from approximately 1,800 to nearly 6,000, and increases in timesheets from about 2,500 to 8,500 per month while drill logs rose to 1,500 per month. The Pronto Xi Asset and Facility Management deployment delivered improved data accuracy, reduced paper handling, enhanced reporting and dashboard capabilities, and enabled Mitchell Services to internally integrate an acquired business into the same system without external consultant support.
