In 2008, Mitek USA, Inc implemented FIS GETPAID to manage quote to cash duties for its US operations, deploying the FIS Global solution as part of an AR Automation strategy for a manufacturer of building products. The implementation was scoped to address end to end accounts receivable activities across pricing, order desk management, distribution management to public warehouses, invoicing, credit approval, collections, cash application and AR adjustments.
FIS GETPAID was configured as a bolt-on application focused on Credit, Collections and Cash Applications, with functional modules tailored to credit approval workflows, collections case management, automated cash application routines and AR adjustment processing. The deployment included invoice presentment support and integration points that align with quote to cash orchestration, while retaining the QAD .net ERP as the transactional system of record.
Architecturally, the solution was integrated directly with the companys QAD .net ERP, enabling exchange of invoice, payment and customer account data between FIS GETPAID and QAD .net. That bolt-on integration pattern centralized AR transaction handling in the FIS GETPAID layer, while upstream order desk and pricing activities remained coordinated with the ERP driven order and distribution processes.
Operational coverage encompassed the US finance, credit and collections teams, and extended to distribution and order desk functions supporting public warehouse distribution. Governance centered on standardizing the credit approval process and collections workflows within the AR Automation domain, using FIS GETPAID as the operational engine for cash application and receivables control.
