In 2014, Mittal Pharma implemented Softworld RetailGraph Payroll, a Payroll application from vendor Softworld. The deployment centralized weekly payroll processing for the company and covered the full 30 person staff complement, with the accounting manager creating and implementing accounting policies to support the new automated system.
Softworld RetailGraph Payroll was configured to handle core Payroll capabilities including payroll calculation, payroll scheduling and statutory reporting, while financial transactions such as daily expenses, monthly payables and receivables were updated into the company software environment for consolidated accounting. The implementation aligned payroll processing with existing financial workflows, and payroll outputs were used to prepare internal and external financial statements and corporate tax submissions as performed by the accounting manager.
Operational governance was assigned to the accounting manager in Jaipur, who processed weekly payroll and managed budget preparation, financial analysis and monthly payments within the system. The accounting manager had prior experience leading an accounting transition from MS Excel to Microsoft Dynamics GP, which informed policy design and rollout practices for Softworld RetailGraph Payroll, including documentation of procedures and routine reporting used by audit teams.
