In 2014, Mittal Pharma implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial system, centralizing accounting processes previously managed in MS Excel. The Accounting Manager led the project and positioned Microsoft Dynamics GP to support statutory reporting and routine transaction processing.
Configuration emphasized core financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, budgeting and financial reporting, with daily expenses and income recorded in Microsoft Dynamics GP. The Microsoft Dynamics GP deployment enabled production of internal and external financial statements for audit review and supported preparation and submission of corporate income tax statements.
Payroll processing continued to be executed weekly using swill software for the 30 person staff complement, with payroll outcomes reconciled into Microsoft Dynamics GP for month end financial reporting. The implementation covered finance and accounting operations at Mittal Pvt. Ltd in Jaipur, Rajasthan, consolidating payables, receivables and cash management workflows into the ERP Financial application.
Governance work included creation and implementation of accounting policies and practices to support the new automated system, and project governance that completed the transition on time and under budget. The Microsoft Dynamics GP implementation established a single ERP Financial record for finance and accounting, replacing spreadsheet based controls and standardizing reporting and close processes.

Softworld RetailGraph Payroll was configured to handle core Payroll capabilities including payroll calculation, payroll scheduling and statutory reporting, while financial transactions such as daily expenses, monthly payables and receivables were updated into the company software environment for consolidated accounting.
