In 2014 MM Electrical Merchandising implemented Inlogik ExpenseMe (ex ProMaster) for Expense Management. The deployment established Inlogik ExpenseMe as the finance-facing Expense Management solution to support corporate card controls, petty cash processing and the procure to pay business functions across the organization, with the Senior Accountant leading project governance, requirements analysis, internal testing, user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
The implementation configured core Expense Management capabilities including corporate card management, expense claim capture and coding, approval workflows, petty cash automation through the ProMaster module, and a reporting framework to surface timely coding and reconciliation data. The project emphasized configuration of approval routing and automated capture to reduce manual handling of low-dollar transactions and standardize expense data for finance consumption.
Operational coverage encompassed accounts payable and the procure to pay cycle, with defined testing and UAT phases and ongoing reporting responsibilities allocated to the finance team. Inlogik ExpenseMe (ex ProMaster) served as the system of record for expense reporting and petty cash processing, and EMS reporting was used to provide business leaders with transaction and card usage visibility.
Governance and process changes included updating corporate card policy, establishing reporting disciplines to ensure expenses are coded promptly, and convening cross-functional forums to identify issues and improvements. Documented outcomes from the program included a reduction in manual low value AP invoice processing, an upgrade of the petty cash manual process to ProMaster, and a renegotiated ProMaster contract that delivered an annual saving of $55,000.

In 2016 MM Electrical Merchandising implemented Access MicrOpay (ex Sage MicrOpay) to manage Payroll across its Australian distribution operations. The deployment supported fortnightly MicrOpay Meridian payroll production and centralized processing for more than 2,000 employees, with system operations anchored at the North Rocks NSW payroll office.
Access MicrOpay (ex Sage MicrOpay) was configured to run core payroll processing workflows, pay calculation and payroll runs, annual leave and long service leave accrual reporting, and monthly payroll reporting for the Financial Controller. The configuration also encompassed employee lifecycle transactions such as new starter setup and terminations, and scheduled fortnightly production cycles aligned to the MicrOpay Meridian engine.
The implementation integrated with the CONNX Time and Attendance system to ingest hours and attendance data for payroll calculations, and produced recurrence-based reporting that fed finance and payroll reconciliation activities. Operational coverage included a team of five payroll officers collaborating on production, with the role of Payroll Officer explicitly responsible for payroll completion, accrual reporting, and assisting with monthly payroll-related tasks.
Governance and process design emphasized team-based processing and segregation of duties across the payroll function, with documented responsibilities for fortnightly production, leave accruals, and monthly financial reporting. In 2011 MM Electrical Merchandising implemented Markinson Unibis ERP as its Manufacturing ERP platform. The deployment targeted the organizationwide ERP footprint for a 3000 employee distribution business, aligning core merchandising and manufacturing oriented processes with a single transactional system.
The implementation included configuration of core Manufacturing ERP functional areas, focusing on inventory control, purchasing, sales order processing, warehouse management and production planning, alongside financial transaction processing and business process automation.
