In 2021 Move to Happiness implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the core ERP Financial solution to underpin a new online community and service platform. Sonical served as the implementation partner and combined Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Professional and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing to support both customer-facing commerce and backend finance operations.
The platform was configured around five functional components that map to the ERP Financial and customer engagement stack, including a Digital Buddy for personalized product recommendations, a Happy Coins ledger for prepaid session balances, a bookings module for live and streamed classes, a content platform hosting workouts and programs, and an automatic bookkeeping module that prepares usage invoices and calculates partner commissions. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central provides the financial and ledger backbone, while Sales Professional and Marketing handle CRM, segmentation, and campaign workflows.
Architecturally the solution links frontend and backend systems in real time so that booking events, coin deductions, content access, and accounting entries synchronize immediately, enabling consistent transactional state across the community portal and the financial ledger. The bookkeeping automation routes usage invoices, reconciles coin balances, triggers automatic payments to stakeholders, and enforces partner commission calculations within Business Central, reducing manual handoffs between operations and finance.
Operational coverage explicitly includes customer-facing services and internal staff workflows in Nijlen, Belgium, with authorized customer access controls for content and subscription status. Governance changes centered on automated billing and commission processes, and Sonical levered prior collaboration on Microsoft Office 365 to align identity, collaboration, and platform integration patterns across the deployment.
