Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, MTD Products implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial system. The deployment positioned Oracle E-Business Suite to support corporate finance for MTD Products, part of Stanley Black and Decker, within its manufacturing organization of approximately 6800 employees. The implementation encompassed core ERP Financial capabilities, focusing on financial management workflows such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets, aligned with standard Oracle E-Business Suite financial modules. Configuration work referenced Oracle EBS R12 and R11 artifacts and emphasized master data consolidation alongside ETL orchestration to standardize chart of accounts and supplier master records across sites. Integrations were explicitly designed using Informatica and DataStage ETL pipelines, DB2 transactional feeds, a Snowflake data warehouse, MSBI for analytic delivery, and SAP Bobj for enterprise reporting. Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and R11 were integrated into an information architecture where ETL tools normalized transactional data into an MDM layer, then populated Snowflake and reporting systems for downstream financial and operational analytics. Operational governance centered on MDM controls and ETL orchestration to enforce data consistency for finance and manufacturing reporting, with workflows to manage master data stewardship and periodic reconciliation between Oracle E-Business Suite and reporting stores. The narrative emphasizes system architecture, integrations, and data governance, reflecting design-level signals around ETL, MDM and enterprise reporting rather than implementation partner details.

After go live the HRIS SME managed bi annual Workday updates and led ongoing optimization projects to refine business processes and system usage. Infor Legacy Infor XA Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, MTD Products, a part of Stanley Black and Decker, implemented Infor XA, a Manufacturing ERP, to provide a unified backbone for its highly seasonal manufacturing operations. The Infor XA implementation was positioned to support MTD’s two major divisions, handheld and wheeled products, and to address concentrated production activity that occurs between November and May and frequent weekly forecast volatility driven by promotions and weather. The deployment focused on core manufacturing ERP capabilities, including materials requirements planning, inventory management, production scheduling, bill of materials and shop floor control, with configuration to reflect seasonal demand peaks and constrained supply windows. Infor XA was configured to support procurement workflows, order management and production order sequencing, enabling planners to manage build priorities and component allocations during the compressed manufacturing cadence. Operational coverage extended to MTD’s global manufacturing footprint of ten facilities, with system scope aligned to material planning, purchasing, scheduling, accounting and demand management functions. The implementation emphasized data consolidation for planning and transactional consistency across sites, and was provisioned to support integration touch points with enterprise planning and reporting processes. Governance changes centered on centralized master data management, standardized planning and scheduling workflows, and role-based operational controls to reduce decision latency during seasonal surges. Rollout was structured to align business processes with Infor XA transactional flows, and to enable closer coordination between production control and supply planning without reference to specific prior platforms.
