In 2010, Multi-Chem implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its cloud ERP Financial platform and migrated from Sage 300 ERP, formerly Accpac. The program covered the Group which manages annual turnover of more than S$400 million and operations across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, and India. The deployment operated as a group wide ERP initiative spanning finance, tax, treasury, human resources, procurement, logistics, legal, and commercial functions. The system served operations across multiple countries and addressed multi currency and multi entity accounting requirements across the listed Asian markets. Governance used a one year transition plan to move the Group from ACCPAC to a cloud ERP, with centralized financial controls and standardized process templates rolled out to subsidiaries. The migration completed within a year, providing a cloud based Oracle NetSuite ERP foundation for ongoing group financial management and functional orchestration.
