In 2010, Multi-Chem implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its cloud ERP Financial platform and migrated from Sage 300 ERP, formerly Accpac. The program covered the Group which manages annual turnover of more than S$400 million and operations across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, and India.
Implementation centered on core financial and adjacent enterprise capabilities, including Financial Reporting, Tax Planning, Strategic Planning, Treasury, HRM, Procurement, Logistics, Legal, and Sales enablement. Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to provide consolidated financial reporting, statutory tax workflows and treasury controls, and to support procurement to pay and order to cash processes.
The deployment operated as a group wide ERP initiative spanning finance, tax, treasury, human resources, procurement, logistics, legal, and commercial functions. The system served operations across multiple countries and addressed multi currency and multi entity accounting requirements across the listed Asian markets.
Governance used a one year transition plan to move the Group from ACCPAC to a cloud ERP, with centralized financial controls and standardized process templates rolled out to subsidiaries. The migration completed within a year, providing a cloud based Oracle NetSuite ERP foundation for ongoing group financial management and functional orchestration.

In 2014 Multi-Chem implemented Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople to centralize Core HR capabilities for its HR and People Operations function. The deployment targeted a single cloud-based human resources system to manage employee master data for a Singapore manufacturing organization of 931 employees.
The implementation of Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople included configuration of core HR functional workflows typical for the category, such as centralized employee records, organizational and position management, onboarding and offboarding workflows, absence and time tracking constructs, and performance review process automation. SuitePeople was used to enforce role-based approvals and to create consistent HR process templates and data schemas across business units.
Architecturally the deployment followed a cloud SaaS model, with a central employee master file and role-based access controls to separate HR, People Operations, and management privileges. Governance changes emphasized standardized HR workflows, audit trails and policy-aligned recordkeeping, with the HR team responsible for configuration governance and operational ownership of the Core HR application.
