In 2017, Mustang Resources implemented IFS iLandMan, formerly P2 iLandMan, as its Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP to consolidate lease administration and land management workflows. The implementation activity spanned setup work from June 2016 to April 2017 and targeted lease, right of way and contract records for operations in Wyoming and Colorado, covering Federal and State lease types.
Configuration and functional setup centered on creating and registering lease, right of way and contract records within IFS iLandMan. The project included establishing a new lease records numbering system, configuring record maintenance processes, and embedding lease and contract term analysis capabilities to support ongoing administration.
Operational workflows implemented in IFS iLandMan included monthly verification of minimum royalty obligations for Federal and State leases, preparation and review of rental and right of way payment requests, and execution of payments for rentals and shut ins across state, fee and right of way instruments. These workflows positioned IFS iLandMan as the system of record for royalty verification, payment processing and land payment approvals.
Governance and document management changes were formalized through a digital file setup for all land documents and the new numbering convention for lease records. Mustang Resources used these governance controls to standardize recordkeeping, support payment review procedures and maintain a single source of truth for land and lease administration in IFS iLandMan.
