In 2019, Mutual Materials Company deployed Oracle Content and Experience Cloud as part of a broader migration of core Oracle workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The implementation was positioned to centralize product content and digital assets and to serve as the content backbone for customer-facing commerce and self-service ordering channels. Oracle Content and Experience Cloud was configured to operate as the companys Content Management,Digital Asset Management platform, consolidating product catalogs, specification sheets, images, and marketing assets. Partner Apex IT supported the Oracle Commerce integration, aligning product content flows between Oracle Content and Experience Cloud and the ecommerce storefront to support curated self-service ordering and complex pricing scenarios. As an outcome of the OCI-hosted architecture and integrated content strategy, Mutual Materials reported that systems running on OCI, including Oracle Content Management, began operating 20 percent faster, and the broader application estate experienced zero downtime despite a surge in orders. The combined improvements in operational stability, fleet utilization and ecommerce capabilities contributed to stronger customer and distribution partner relationships and materially increased year-over-year sales growth as reported by the company.
