In 2018, MyDoc implemented Xero as its ERP Financial application to centralize accounting and group reporting across its Singapore parent and regional entities. Xero Accounting Software was provisioned as the primary ledger and reporting platform to support consolidated financial oversight for the Singapore entity and subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand.
The implementation focused on configuring core ERP Financial capabilities including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and a harmonized chart of accounts. MyDoc devised a group reporting structure and data collation workflows within Xero to facilitate investor queries and to standardize entity-level financial statements and journal processes.
Operational scope extended beyond accounting into corporate secretarial and new entity setup activities for Thailand, Philippines and Cambodia, with the finance lead reporting directly to the CEO on financials, board and investor matters. The deployment supported cross-functional processes such as pricing review input from Marketing, revenue projection frameworks coordinated with country general managers, and appointment workflows for external legal, accounting, audit and tax advisors that support new entity formation.
Governance changes accompanied the Xero rollout, with policy and procedure definitions for procurement, payment controls, budgetary control and contract approval layered onto the system workflows. The implementation established centralized accounting operations for group reporting and created a consistent pipeline and revenue projection framework across entities.
