In 2024, Nael General Contracting (NGC) deployed Anviz FaceDeep 3 as a Time Clock (Hardware) solution to manage attendance at a UAE construction site with nearly a thousand workers. The deployment targeted chaotic on-site attendance, unreasonable shift coordination, and frequent buddy punching, conditions that previously required the HR department to spend at least 10 hours per month reconciling clock data and caused payroll settlement delays for finance.
The implementation centered on the Anviz FaceDeep 3 biometric terminals paired with CrossChex Cloud, using high-precision liveness face detection and dual-camera verification to prevent spoofing via photos or videos. Functional capabilities configured included biometric time capture, real-time shift and schedule management, make-up attendance requests, and automated attendance visualization reporting, aligning the Anviz FaceDeep 3 Time Clock (Hardware) deployment with HR and payroll workflows.
On-site FaceDeep 3 terminals were integrated with CrossChex Cloud and a SQL DATABASE to synchronize individual attendance records and automate report generation. The architecture established a cloud-linked capture layer at the site, a cloud management plane in CrossChex Cloud, and a persistent SQL DATABASE for record synchronization and retrieval, enabling administrators and employees to view centralized, transparent attendance reports.
Governance controls were implemented through CrossChex Cloud hierarchical management and administrator operation logs to record administrative actions and reduce opportunities for tampering. Operational processes shifted from manual reconciliation to system-driven workflows, with administrators able to adjust shifts in real time according to construction progress and finance consuming standardized attendance exports for payroll.
Customer-reported outcomes included a faster, more transparent clock-in experience and elimination of manual sorting of attendance data. According to the customer quote, the tailored attendance plan reduced more than 85% of labor costs spent on worker attendance management and saved the company nearly 60,000 dirhams per month.
