The Jedox deployment emphasized self-service reporting, dynamic reports and analytics to drive key management decisions, and the configuration and administration of annual budget and forecast templates and processes within the BI tool.
Operational responsibilities included administration of Microsoft Dynamics GP, the Workplace purchasing system, the Jedox BI system and the TimeTarget time keeping system, along with ownership of ETL processes into the BI environment. The implementation team built SQL queries to extract critical information and deliver HR analytics, accounting analytics, purchasing analytics and other ad hoc analytical support, and liaised with stakeholders to design and implement effective cubes and analytical models in Jedox.
Governance and workflow changes centered on formalizing annual statutory reporting and audit workflows, embedding budget and forecast cycles in the BI tool, and providing ongoing financial analytical support to the CFO. These activities connected the National Institute of Dramatic Art Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP Financial system to executive reporting, budgeting, HR and purchasing decision processes to improve financial visibility and support leadership decision making.
