The deployment used the Field Squared Platform as a mobile-first Field Service Management solution focused on mobilizing technicians and streamlining job intake and dispatch. The implementation configured mobile mapping, barcode and photo data capture, GPS technician tracking, scheduling, and real-time job assignment as core functional modules. Field workforce mobility and on-device data capture were emphasized to enable technicians to record meter reads and site evidence in the field, while scheduling and GPS tracking supported dynamic dispatch and route awareness. Operationally the rollout targeted field operations and work order preparation workflows, shifting job preparation from paper and back office coordination to real-time assignment and mobile capture. This change in workflow structure reduced work order preparation time by about 75 percent, and positioned the Field Squared Platform to centrally manage technician schedules, job documentation, and location-aware tasking for utility metering activities across the companys US service area.
