Lightspeed Commerce Legacy QuoteMachine by Lightspeed Subscription and Recurring Billing ERP Financial Management n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Native Plant Trust implemented QuoteMachine by Lightspeed to manage quoting, pre-orders, online order forms, appointments and payments. The deployment at Native Plant Trust's Garden in the Woods in Framingham MA in the United States was positioned as a Subscription and Recurring Billing solution focused on sales, finance and CRM workflows. QuoteMachine by Lightspeed was configured to run quotes and pre-order campaigns, host online order forms, schedule appointments and capture payments, aligning catalog pricing with the organization’s inventory records. Functional configuration emphasized order lifecycle automation, payment capture and customer record enrichment to support retail transactions and donor or member interactions. The implementation integrated directly with Lightspeed POS and Lightspeed inventory to synchronize product availability, pricing and transaction records between point of sale and back office systems. Operational coverage targeted retail sales and order management for the plant nursery, enabling online pre-orders and appointment-based shopping to extend the seasonal selling window. Governance centered on consolidating quoting and order intake into a single system to simplify fulfillment workflows and financial reconciliation between POS and recurring billing processes. According to the customer, adoption simplified order management, extended the selling season and approximately doubled retail sales year over year after adoption.
