In 2020, Nava Management implemented NexTech MDIntelleSys, an Electronic Health Record, to support clinical and practice operations across its centers. The deployment was provisioned to cover three sites in the Mid Atlantic region, including Ashburn, VA, Bethesda, MD, and Fairfax, VA, and was used by a combined clinical and nonclinical staff of 37 under regional operational oversight.
NexTech MDIntelleSys was configured to support core Electronic Health Record capabilities, with emphasis on clinical documentation, appointment scheduling, insurance billing and quality assurance workflows, and operational reporting used for audits. Configuration work included establishing daily, weekly, and monthly billing QA processes and operational audit reports, aligning system workflows with on-site clinical procedures and sales-oriented membership processes.
Operational workflows tied NexTech MDIntelleSys into broader practice management activities, including coordination of supply orders, inventory checks, facility inspections, and payroll budgeting processes. Nava Management maintained an operational connection with Insperity payroll software for budget planning and workforce cost oversight while using NexTech MDIntelleSys for audit and billing control, reflecting cross-application operational coordination rather than a named technical middleware integration.
Governance and rollout were administered at the regional level, with the Regional Director responsible for system-driven onboarding, staff training on NexTech MDIntelleSys, performance reviews, and ongoing quality assurance of insurance billing. During the period of use the organization reported operational accomplishments including sustained patient visit growth, expanded service volumes, revenue increases, and improved client satisfaction, outcomes that coincided with the operational practices and governance layered onto the Electronic Health Record implementation.
