The implementation centers on the Almas Fingerprint Time Clock Reader hardware acting as both an access control gate and a time-stamping device, with member enrollment and biometric verification workflows executed at the point of entry. The device is integrated with the gym turnstile and gated by the club membership account status so that members who maintain up-to-date accounts gain entry without continuous reception oversight, enabling reception staffing to be reprioritized. Operational governance shifted to a membership-account-first access policy and member enrollment procedures, and NC Fitness also documented a parallel safety investment by acquiring a DOC defibrillator for onsite emergency response.
