Quickbase Legacy Quickbase Workflow management Business Process Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Neighborhood Legal Services Michigan implemented Quickbase Workflow management as a Business Process Management deployment to support housing assistance case management. The organization went live with the NLSM Housing Application in November 2020 across Detroit and Wayne County, targeting intake, case assignment, inspection scheduling, document signing and HUD reporting workflows. Quickbase Workflow management was configured with functional modules for intake triage, automated case assignment rules, inspection scheduling, document signing orchestration and structured HUD reporting. Automation included state driven approval flows and payment triggers, and the application consolidated case records and standardized data capture to align operational intake with HUD reporting requirements. The implementation integrated Quickbase with DocuSign and QuickBooks Online to automate document execution and payment posting, with the Quickbase Workflow management application orchestrating approval flows, signature tracking and synchronization of payment records to accounting. Operational coverage focused on housing assistance teams and the accounting function at service sites across Detroit and Wayne County, enabling coordinated case processing and financial reconciliation. Governance was centralized under program and accounting leads with a phased rollout culminating in the November 2020 go live for the NLSM Housing Application, and ongoing governance emphasized workflow rule tuning and reporting consistency. The configuration enabled faster rehousing and more consistent HUD compliance and saved the accounting team multiple workdays.
