Oracle Legacy Oracle DataScience.com Platform ML and Data Science Platforms AI Development n/a 2021 2021
In 2021 Neos implemented Oracle DataScience.com Platform as the machine learning and analytics backbone for its new cloud native SaaS application, CloudVane. The deployment was architected on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing at its core to support fast time to market, low administration and high performance for cost visibility and automation across multicloud environments. The implementation consolidated large volumes of structured transactions and unstructured data from documents, JSON files and spatial graphs into a single storage and processing pipeline. Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing provided the transactional and analytical store, Oracle Machine Learning delivered in-database model training and scoring, and Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes hosted CloudVane microservices to enable single-click customer deployments and rapid provisioning of new tenant environments. Integrations explicitly included Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing and Oracle Machine Learning, with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes used for container orchestration. The operational scope of the solution targeted CloudVane customers across finance, telecommunications, utilities and public sector use cases, delivering multicloud cost optimization, resource automation and predictive insights as business functions consumed via the CloudVane SaaS interface. Governance and operational processes shifted toward zero database maintenance and self-service provisioning, with environments provisioned in minutes through an administrative console. Outcomes reported by Neos include reduced database administrator effort from 80 hours per month to 4 hours per month, 76 percent cost savings in DevTest and 30 percent cost savings in production driven by optimized storage and per-second autoscaling, and predictive model execution 40 to 60 percent faster using the Oracle DataScience.com Platform and in-database Oracle Machine Learning. The implementation positions Neos, Oracle DataScience.com Platform and ML and Data Science Platforms as central to CloudVane’s automated cost management and predictive analytics capabilities.
