In 2023 Netgroup Italy engaged Sixtema ClientX to power the AeroZone marketplace, an eCommerce platform for aeronautical components developed under the IMOS and PRIDE projects in collaboration with Sixtema. The implementation narrative centers on Sixtema ClientX as the application layer supporting buyer and supplier interactions for aerospace supply chain commerce. Netgroup Italy is identified as the project owner and Sixtema is named as the collaborating implementer on the project page.
The deployment architecture combines marketplace eCommerce functionality with blockchain and IoT enabled services, using Sixtema ClientX to host product catalog and SKU management, buyer and supplier portals, and order management and procurement workflows. The implementation includes a transaction ledger for provenance and auditability and IoT data ingestion for component tracking and lifecycle visibility, reflecting integration between commerce workflows and telemetry and ledger capabilities. Standard eCommerce functional terminology such as catalog management, order orchestration, buyer supplier onboarding, and procurement workflow orchestration is embodied in the Sixtema ClientX configuration.
Operational scope targets aerospace supply chain participants including buyers and suppliers engaged through the AeroZone marketplace, with governance and process controls oriented toward supplier onboarding and provenance verification as part of the IMOS and PRIDE program governance. Sixtema acted as a collaborating implementer alongside Netgroup Italy, and rollout focused on embedding blockchain based provenance checks and IoT enabled traceability into procurement and quality workflows.
