In 2018, Nium Singapore implemented CurrencyCloud Ignite as a Payment Processing platform to modernize its finance and payments operations. The deployment was built on Currencycloud’s payment platform APIs, adopting an API-led integration approach to automate cross-border payments and embed programmable payment flows into operational processes. The configuration emphasized API orchestration, automated payment initiation, and centralized control of cross-border settlement logic within the payments stack.
The implementation covered finance and payments teams across multiple markets, centralizing cross-border payment orchestration and customer-facing payment flows. CurrencyCloud Ignite was used to operationalize end-to-end payment processing capabilities, reduce manual interventions in payment execution, and streamline exception handling and customer communication for cross-border transfers. These changes improved payment completion rates, reduced customer complaints, and supported revenue growth across multiple markets.
