In 2012, NoaNet implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP, replacing Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as its core ERP Financial system to consolidate financial and project information across a distributed workforce. The deployment focused on establishing Oracle NetSuite ERP as the single platform for finance, payroll, and project-related financial data, enabling enterprise-wide visibility for remote employees.
Configuration centered on standard ERP Financial capabilities, including financial management, accounts payable and receivable workflows, payroll processing, and project accounting to align time and cost tracking with financial ledgers. The implementation emphasized role-based access and centralized configuration of chart of accounts and project cost structures so finance and project management functions could share consistent transactional data.
Data migration and cutover work included extraction and reconciliation of transactional records from Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise into Oracle NetSuite ERP, preserving payroll and project histories to support ongoing operations. Operational coverage spanned finance, payroll, and project management teams and extended access to NoaNet’s remote workforce in the United States, shifting reporting and transaction entry to the NetSuite application.
Governance changes accompanied the conversion, with the program spearheaded to consolidate processes and standardize workflows for financial close, payroll posting, and project billing within the new ERP Financial environment. The initiative explicitly enabled access by the workforce of remote employees to enterprise-wide information, from payroll to projects, through the Oracle NetSuite ERP platform.
