In 2021 NORDSEE implemented Hubexo Vortal Supplier Relationship Management to consolidate sourcing and maintenance procurement for restaurant infrastructure. The project scope covered cooking equipment, ventilation infrastructure, sewer and grease traps, refrigeration systems, HVAC, electrical installation, fire protection and elevators, and the implementation targeted supplier rationalization and standardized maintenance across all regions and sites.
Hubexo Vortal Supplier Relationship Management was configured to perform supplier scouting and qualification, run tenders using VORTAL’s eSourcing technology, and deliver scenario analysis to identify optimal award scenarios. The deployment included formalized supplier qualification workflows, consolidated tender orchestration, and standardized maintenance plans tied to a centralized preventive maintenance program, with a maintenance manager role established to oversee restaurant-level execution.
Operational coverage extended across NORDSEE restaurants nationally, with VORTAL identifying and qualifying new and incumbent suppliers to enlarge a national supplier base that met technical competencies and geographic needs. Contracts were structured to cover the defined scope of works uniformly, ensuring a minimum level of quality and legal compliance for each restaurant while providing greater spend visibility on assets and vendor coverage across regions.
A new central governance model was defined to ensure contract deployment and ongoing supplier management under the Supplier Relationship Management program, delivering control over the supplier base and a coherent negotiation strategy. Outcomes explicitly reported include reduction of a supplier base from over 200 suppliers to 9 qualified suppliers, standardized maintenance plans, and a stated reduction in total cost of ownership through increased spend visibility on assets and reduced costs from production downtime.

In 2019 NORDSEE implemented Twilio Sendgrid to provide Transactional Email capabilities for its website-driven customer communications. The deployment uses Twilio Sendgrid as a cloud-hosted transactional messaging layer to generate and deliver automated messages originating from the public website.
The implementation centers on email API and SMTP relay usage, template management for dynamic content, and event webhook handling for delivery, bounce, and spam reports. Functional capabilities observed align with Transactional Email workflows, including programmatic send, personalized templates for order confirmations and account notifications, and standard deliverability monitoring and suppression list management.
Operational ownership sits with web and e-commerce engineering and customer service teams, with the service integrated into the website checkout and account flows to trigger notifications. Governance practices include template version control and escalation of delivery issues via webhook alerts to backend systems, enabling centralized control of transactional templates and suppression policies while keeping email orchestration within the Twilio Sendgrid environment.
