In 2021 Northern Light Health implemented Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management as a CloudSuite V11 deployment to support finance and supply chain operations. The engagement is recorded in the ERP Financial category and focused on Contract Management, Item Master maintenance, and procurement template control across its Bangor, Maine site during a contract engagement from February to June 2021.
Implementation work centered on Contract Management and Item Master functional modules, including daily processing of new CloudSuite item adds via Item Add Worksheets and direct contract entries. The effort included processing Manufacturer, Manufacturer Item number and Description changes through Item Sync, participation in a Contract Line Errors remediation project, GPO Item conversion tasks, and Procurement Template cleanup activities to enforce master data integrity.
The deployment incorporated EDI and supplier integration work, with the consultant performing an EDI Administrator role for vendor onboarding with GHX and EDI trading partners, and configuring electronic transmission of 850, 855, and 810 transactions. A nightly GPO Contract Interface was monitored as part of ongoing data integrity checks, and onboarding activity for another hospital moving onto Infor required cleaning non-direct crosses to the CloudSuite Item Master and crossing to CSF manufacturer codes, CSF vendors, UNSPSC codes, and associated contracts.
Operational governance included daily inbox monitoring for adds and changes, leading or co-leading weekly distribution price discrepancy meetings with Purchasing, and provisioning training materials for the V11 SOHO platform. The consultant supported temporary staffing while the organization hired and trained a new full time employee, and created PowerPoint training collateral for Item Master and Contract Management teams to standardize procedures and handoffs.

Governance and rollout leveraged Lean Six Sigma and Agile methods, with a Senior ERP Project Manager leading strategic implementation activities from Jun 2022 to Sep 2023 to facilitate current to future state assessments and KPI measurement. The program emphasized process standardization, iterative releases and KPI-driven continuous improvement for absence policy compliance and operational consistency.
