IFS Legacy IFS Cloud HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2023 2023
In 2023 NOTE AB selected IFS Cloud and initiated deployment of IFS Cloud HCM as the Core HR component within a broader IFS Cloud ERP and EAM initiative. The program is intended to consolidate enterprise operations on a single cloud platform, and the IFS Cloud HCM implementation is explicitly positioned to serve NOTE AB Core HR and workforce management needs across the group. The deployment scope covers a comprehensive suite of IFS Cloud modules, with configured functionality for manufacturing, finance, projects, procurement, supply chain management, enterprise asset management EAM, CRM, and human capital management through IFS Cloud HCM. Configuration work is described as aligning manufacturing execution and project accounting with centralized procurement and supply chain processes, while EAM capabilities will be provisioned to manage maintenance planning and asset lifecycle operations. Operational architecture is centered on a unified cloud ERP and EAM platform designed to provide enhanced visibility and processing scale, supporting intercompany trading, sourcing, planning, and maintenance operations. The implementation is planned for 1,200 users across 11 sites in 5 countries and is intended to deliver the scalability and processing power needed to support the companys acquisition strategy and ongoing growth. Program governance and rollout are scheduled to be delivered by Regional System Integrator Addovation, with the implementation project commencing in early November 2023. Governance emphasis in the program narrative targets centralized process orchestration for cross‑functional workflows including procurement to pay, project costing, workforce provisioning, and maintenance scheduling, enabling tighter operational control across manufacturing and finance functions. Stated outcomes include streamlined and automated business processes, enhanced operational visibility, improved IT security and efficiency, and economies of scale to foster innovation and deliver greater customer value. IFS Cloud HCM is described as the Core HR pillar within the platform, supporting NOTE ABs rapid expansion, hiring needs, and ability to integrate acquired entities into a single enterprise platform.
