In 2019, Novalix implemented Optibrium StarDrop, a Predictive Analytics application, in its France based CRO to centralize multi site chemistry, ADME and assay data and to enable real time SAR analysis, 3D visualisation and QSAR modelling across chemistry, pharmacology and DMPK teams. The deployment of Optibrium StarDrop served as a centralized analytics layer to support cross functional drug discovery decision making and to consolidate experimental and in silico data from distributed laboratory sites.
The implementation configured StarDrop capabilities for predictive modelling, QSAR pipelines, structure activity relationship exploration and interactive 3D visualisation, aligning these modules with existing chemistry and DMPK workflows. Configuration work targeted data standardization, chemical structure handling, model management and interactive SAR review to make predictive outputs consumable for medicinal chemistry and pharmacology users.
Novalix integrated Optibrium StarDrop with CDD Vault to unite electronic chemistry records and assay datasets, enabling synchronized access to experimental results and model predictions across sites. The integration supported data orchestration between chemistry, pharmacology and DMPK teams, and provided a single access point for SAR interrogation and model driven compound prioritization.
Governance changes emphasized standardized data curation and SAR review workflows to ensure reproducible model inputs and consistent decision gates during compound progression. According to the case study, the StarDrop deployment delivered reduced data retrieval times, faster decision making and improved client service delivery.
